by | May 7, 2025 | News

Samsung TV Plus is solidifying its position as a big player in the FAST (Free Ad-Supported TV) streaming market. Last month, it expanded its live sports lineup by adding five new channels. It has now introduced Samsung Television Network (STN). This is a broad-FAST channel that will offer some of the most popular shows, live events, and popular stars.

Samsung TV Plus unveils new FAST partnerships

Samsung TV Plus has over 88 million monthly users, nearly 700 channels, and a huge on-demand library. The company says that 92% of new viewers keep watching for at least three months. Now, with Samsung Television Network, it aims to provide viewers a curated selection of Samsung TV Plus’ most in-demand content.

The new channel will feature well-known names like David Letterman, Conan O’Brien. On top of that, it will stream Emmy-winning series like Killing Eve, along with live sports and other big events. One of its biggest exclusives is the Jonas Brothers’ Living the Dream Tour, which kicks off at MetLife Stadium on August 10. Viewers can watch live performances and behind-the-scenes moments from their TVs at home.

“Through deep insights and personalized curation, we’re delivering the content audiences love in an unbeatable format. We’re rewriting the rules of streaming and teaming up with A-list talent to bring exclusive entertainment to the biggest screen in the home,” said Salek Brodsky, SVP and Global Head of Samsung TV Plus.

It brings a curated lineup of video podcast episodes

Samsung TV Plus is also teaming up with Spotify’s The Ringer to launch a video podcast channel. The Ringer offers the most popular podcasts and the most recognizable talent in sports and pop culture. So, now fans will be able to watch their favorite shows such as Book of Basketball 2.0 with Bill Simmons, The Rewatchables, Higher Learning, and The Ringer-Verse from their TVs at home.

On top of that, Samsung has partnered with some of the country’s top talent, bringing standout creators to audiences nationwide. Some top talents include Mark Rober, a former NASA engineer turned mega-creator, and Dhar Mann, famous for uplifting short dramas. Other new channels will come from creators like Michelle Khare, Smosh, The Try Guys, Epic Gardening, The Sorry Girls, and Donut Media.

Additionally, Samsung TV Plus will launch the SMTOWN channel in collaboration with SM Entertainment, aiming to offer best-in-class K-Content to fans worldwide. The channel will launch with the SMTOWN LIVE 2025 concert in Los Angeles on May 11, which will stream live only on Samsung TV Plus.
