The Galaxy S25 Edge turned out to be the same phone we previously knew as S25 Slim. The Edge branding felt slightly off, as it is typically associated with phones featuring curved edges, but still fairly reasonable. However, the internal codename for the phone is “Paradigm Slim,” which basically means a slimmer S25 — Paradigm is the codename for the Galaxy S25 series. It reflects the bold innovations these flagships bring.
Long story short, the phone arriving on May 13 should be called the Galaxy S25 Edge. Samsung likely switched from the Slim branding somewhere along the lines during the development stage, but some people handling its websites didn’t get the memo.
