Galaxy S25 Edge Layout Leaks In Official Marketing Materials – Launch Imminent

by | Apr 28, 2025 | Galaxy S, News

Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13, 2025 (May 12 in the US), potentially at a virtual Unpacked event in South Korea. Originally slated for an April launch, the device was slightly delayed due to the current US tariff situation. We’ve already seen numerous teasers for the phone, starting with one more thing at Galaxy Unpacked back in January. Now, popular leaker Evan Blass (evleaks) has shared an official layout sheet for the device components. This sheet appears to be official marketing material inserted with the device packaging.

Galaxy S25 Edge Layout Sheet

There aren’t any real surprises with this particular leak. The phone features a camera array (200MP primary and an ultra-wide), microphones, speaker, charging port, and other standard phone necessities. Due to the thin profile, Samsung will utilize the earpiece to achieve stereo sound, which makes a lot of sense. Otherwise, the overall aesthetic of the phone is similar to the rest of the Galaxy S25 lineup. The front of the device is virtually indistinguishable from the S25 Ultra to the untrained eye. Around back, the only real difference noticeable to the average user is the camera array.

Galaxy S25 Edge – What We Know

Samsung is banking on the aesthetic appeal of thinness. From a value proposition, the S25 Edge doesn’t offer many tangible benefits over the S25+. One key concern is battery life. With a 3900 mAh cell inside, it remains to see if this will be an issue in daily use. Price could be an issue as well. The Galaxy S25 Edge apparently starts at $1099 USD, which is quite pricey. Still, at 5.94mm thick, the industrial design of the S25 Edge is appealing. If Samsung can convince enough users that looks matter as much as performance, this device could be a big hit.

Of course, Samsung will have robust competition in the ultra-thin flagship market. Apple plans to enter the arena in September 2025 with the iPhone 17 Air. Samsung certainly has an advantage as the first OEM out of the gate and it will be interesting to see how the S25 Edge fairs among Samsung enthusiasts. We will have a full review of the Galaxy S25 Edge at launch, of course.
