Samsung is now rolling out One UI 7 globally. At the same time, it has updated its Email app, improving both functionality and looks. After a small update in January, which mainly added extra padding in the settings menu, Samsung has now released a bigger update. This one fits better with the modern, refined style of One UI 7, offering users a more visually consistent experience.
Visual improvements and more upgrades
The latest Samsung Email update brings more visual consistency with uniform padding throughout the app, including the inbox. This creates a cleaner and more spacious layout. A smart change is the new background color in the hamburger menu to clearly show which tab is active, making navigation easier and more intuitive. When creating an email or event, the background now appears darker. This improves text readability and creates a more user-friendly experience.

Widget revamp
Samsung has also redesigned the Email widget, removing the borders for a modern, minimalistic look. It now blends better with the overall One UI 7 aesthetic. However, Samsung missed one thing: the blur effect. Pop-up menus and widgets do not have the frosted glass effect seen in other One UI apps. This creates a slight inconsistency in the overall design. Hopefully, it’s in the pipeline for future updates.

There are a few other issues with Samsung Email
While this update substantially improves the overall look and feel of Samsung Email, there are a few issues. We spotted a minor UI glitch in the settings menu: the rounded corners aren’t properly applied, making the edges appear rough and slightly unfinished. This takes away from the otherwise polished feel of the update.
Despite these small flaws, the update is a step forward. The Samsung Email app now matches the One UI 7 experience better.
