It’s finally here. Samsung has been on a roll lately with its Android 15-based One UI 7 updates. It’s great to see the rollout picking up pace in the US. A bunch of devices have received the stable One UI 7 update in recent days, and now the Verizon-locked Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 are joining the list.
One UI 7 stable lands on Verizon-locked Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5
As officially confirmed by Verizon (1,2), the stable One UI 7 update is now available for carrier-locked Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 devices. The update comes with the latest April 2025 security patch, and the following One UI 7 builds will show up on your Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5.
- Galaxy Z Fold 5: F946USQU6EYD9
- Galaxy Z Flip 5: F731USQU6EYD9
To check if the update is available, head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If it’s ready for your device, it’ll show up there. If not, try restarting your phone and checking again. Sometimes, a simple trick like that does the job. Don’t ask me why it works… I’m almost afraid to know what kind of sorcery it is.
So far, Samsung has rolled out the stable One UI 7 update to a handful of devices in the US. These include the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold SE, Tab S10 series, S23 series, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5. That lines up well with an official roadmap, meaning the Galaxy S24 FE could very well be next in line for the update. We’ll keep you posted when that happens.
If you’re outside the US, you might want to check which regions have received the One UI 7 thus far. We’re actively updating the list.
