One UI 7 is slowly making its way to more devices and regions. After pushing the Android 15-based update to the Galaxy S23 series in South Korea, Samsung is now rolling it out in the US. At this pace, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the update hit more devices. Or expand to additional markets before the April window closes.
One UI 7 hits Galaxy S23 series in the US
The One UI 7 stable update is now live for the Galaxy S23 Ultra in the US (h/t update tracker @KeepUPwithOneUI!). At the time of writing, there’s still no information about the other two phones — Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+. That said, unless something changes last minute, we expect both devices to receive the update later today.
The update comes with firmware version S918USQU6DYD9, along with the April 2025 security patch. It weighs in at around 5.1GB. You can check for an available update by going to Settings> Software update > Download and install.
Samsung seems to be on a roll lately, steadily pushing out a wave of One UI 7 update. Just last night, the company rolled out the update to the Galaxy Tab S9 series in the US, right on the heels of the Tab S10 series update in the same region.
According to an official roadmap, the One UI 7 update was scheduled to reach the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold SE, Tab S10 series, S23 series, S24 FE, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5 in April. Based on what we’ve seen so far, the company has already pushed the update to more than half the devices on that list.
If the rollout continues at this pace, we know what could be next in line. Obviously, the Galaxy S24 FE, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5 in the US. Samsung has already released the One UI 7 updates to these devices back home in South Korea.
