Trusted Leaker Confirms Galaxy S25 Edge Details Before Launch

by | Apr 25, 2025 | Galaxy S, News

The Galaxy S25 Edge is just around the corner, and thanks to popular leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks), we now have a fair idea of what Samsung’s first-ever slim flagship brings to the table. While some of this info has been floating around in the rumor mill for a while, Blass’s leak adds a layer of credibility ahead of the phone’s expected official launch next month.

Key Galaxy S25 Edge info revealed ahead of launch

According to Blass, Samsung is going all-in on design and portability this time. The Galaxy S25 Edge weighs just 163 grams and measures only 5.8mm thick, making it the thinnest flagship phone Samsung has ever made. All of this without compromising on performance. The company is shipping the Edge with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite processor as the rest of the S25 lineup, including the Ultra model.

This should mean smooth multitasking and seamless gaming, though thermal management remains a concern. Due to its slim build, the Galaxy S25 Edge doesn’t have enough space for a sizeable cooling system. Interestingly, Blass claims a long-lasting battery to keep you going all day, though a slim profile means the battery capacity may max out at 4,000mAh or less.

Camera-wise, Samsung is equipping the Galaxy S25 Edge with a pro-grade 200MP camera — if the leaked info is accurate, it should be the same one found on the S25 Ultra. Samsung’s advanced image processing should deliver impressive photos and videos, though some might rue the lack of a dedicated zoom camera.

A titanium frame and ceramic glass protection on the front add a premium feel to an already super slim and stylish handset. The Galaxy S25 Edge will ship with One UI 7, so buyers also get a smooth software experience from day one, alongside access to Samsung’s latest AI tools. Overall, this phone is shaping up to be a great choice for anyone into slim phones, as long as cameras don’t hold a priority.
