Samsung’s One UI 7 update is spreading its wings, covering more Galaxy devices worldwide. The update is now live for the Galaxy Tab S9 series in the US. This follows an earlier release for the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup. One UI 7 is also available for a bunch of other devices in the US and other markets.
Galaxy Tab S9 also gets One UI 7 in the US
Samsung has been pushing One UI 7 to eligible Galaxy devices since early April — April 7, to be precise. It has been a staggered rollout, gradually expanding to more models around the world. In the US, Samsung has so far released the update for the Galaxy S24, Fold 6, Flip 6, Tab S10, and Tab S9, with the latter being the newest entrant to the party.
The Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra are all picking up One UI 7 stateside. It should be just a matter of time before the update becomes available for these tablets across the nation, for both Wi-Fi and cellular versions. Users can check for updates from Settings > Software update > Download and install.
One UI 7 is a massive update with tons of new features and enhancements. You get a visual upgrade with smoother animations and updated UI, as well as new AI-driven functions, additional customization options, and advanced privacy and security controls. The update size (around 5GB) tells you about the sheer amount of goodies One UI 7 brings to your Galaxy device.
Samsung will soon release One UI 7 for more Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The Galaxy S23 series, S24 FE, Fold 5, and Flip 5 have already received the update in some regions. Their US versions should pick up One UI 7 in the coming days. Alongside feature enhancements, the update also brings the latest security fixes part of Samsung’s April 2025 release.
