Galaxy S24 and S25 devices get the latest One UI 7 build in Europe
After an initial release in Korea last week, Samsung today released the One UI 7 hotfix for the Galaxy S24 series in the US. This update addresses the bugs present in the original build pushed earlier this month. The update is now rolling out in Europe as well. This coincides with the global release of the Android 15 update for the 2024 flagship lineup, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6.
Additionally, Samsung has released a fresh One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S25 lineup. This update has also been rolling out in different markets for the past few days and has finally reached Europe. It contains a few new features that first made their way into the Galaxy S24 and other models with the stable One UI 7 release.
Some of the most notable changes include a new battery icon, updated charging animation, and Now Bar improvements. With this update, the Galaxy S25 series finally supports media playback controls in the Live Notifications pill sitting on the left side of the status bar. There are many other behind-the-scenes optimizations for smoother overall performance.
On top of this, the Galaxy S25 series is getting the April 2025 security patch with over 60 vulnerability fixes. This update has already reached many other Galaxy devices. Samsung will gradually expand the coverage to additional eligible models while simultaneously pushing One UI 7 to more smartphones and tablets. We will keep you posted accordingly. Meanwhile, you can check for updates from the Settings app.
