There’s nothing that comes closer to the Galaxy S series in Android tablets. It’s a fact, according to Statcounter. Samsung recently took the wraps off the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and FE+ tablets, and we might have thought that it’s now the time for the Galaxy Tab S10 series. Well, it’s not. Samsung maybe planning to add another member to the Galaxy Tab S10 series, and it will be the “Lite” version. But things don’t end here; Samsung is also allegedly planning to shake up the Galaxy Tab S11 series. Notably, Samsung is keeping tight-lipped about either of these tablets.
Samsung’s upcoming tablets could be the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra
As per findings from AssembleDebug and Android Authority, Samsung is working on multiple tablets, one of which could be the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, potentially joining the Galaxy Tab S10 family.
According to the code spotted by the publication, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite could come in both cellular and Wi-Fi variants, packing the Exynos 1380 5G processor. The same processor is also used in the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and is a downgrade compared to what the newly launched Tab S10 FE tablets offer. This means the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite will likely be cheaper, possibly the most affordable model in the lineup.
Next, the publication mentions that Samsung has some different plans for the Galaxy Tab S11 series. One of these plans is the introduction of a base Galaxy Tab S11 model. Another model joining the series could be the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Both of these tablets will feature the Dimensity 9400 chipset under the hood. There’s no mention of a Galaxy Tab S11+ for now, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see one in the future.
Perhaps Samsung could launch the Galaxy Tab S11+ at a later date, or maybe it won’t happen at all. The publication also mentions that Samsung might still release the Plus variant sometime later.
