Samsung might finally be ready to launch two long-awaited Good Lock modules — Galaxy to Share and Dropship — to a wider global audience. Both modules briefly appeared in the Good Lock plugin list for some users recently, including on one of our own devices. While they vanished just as quickly as they arrived, the appearance raises hopes that a global release may be on the horizon.
Galaxy to Share and Dropship appear on Galaxy devices outside Korea
Galaxy to Share (GTS) is a customization sync tool for sharing their personalized Good Lock settings. You can share your custom clock styles, themes, and home screen layouts with other Galaxy users or port them to multiple Galaxy devices. Dropship, meanwhile, simplifies file sharing, allowing users to transfer photos, videos, and documents to any platform, even non-Samsung devices.
These powerful Good Lock modules have always been locked to Samsung’s home country, but that could change soon. For a short period, both Galaxy to Share and Dropship were visible within the Good Lock interface on one of our Galaxy S24 Ultra units running One UI 7 Beta 6 in India. We also checked multiple other devices across regions, including the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but these two modules didn’t show up.
Meanwhile, some other users saw them on Galaxy devices running older One UI versions. Galaxy to Share (GTS) carried a “Beta” label, while Dropship did not. It’s the clearest sign yet that Samsung may be preparing to make these two apps available globally.
That said, their sudden disappearance leaves us with some questions. The modules haven’t returned since their brief debut, and Samsung or the Good Lock team hasn’t said anything. Whether this was a test rollout, an internal error, or a pre-release slip-up remains unclear. Until Samsung provides clarity, we’re keeping a close eye on future Good Lock updates.
Opening these modules up globally would surely be a major quality-of-life upgrade for Galaxy owners everywhere. Samsung did recently expand Good Lock to more markets, so maybe it’s planning to release the Korea-exclusive modules globally too; we shall find out soon.
