Samsung may have halted the One UI 7 rollout, but the update will resume sooner or later. Meanwhile, the company continues to publish its regional rollout timelines for different markets. One such timeline for the Middle East recently revealed that the One UI 7 update with stretch into July for some Galaxy devices. The same goes for India, where some users must wait until July to receive the big Android 15 update.
Samsung India shares its One UI 7 rollout timeline, and it’s not impressive
Every year, Samsung launches dozens of Android smartphones and tablets across various price points. It also offers the best software update support in the Android space. As such, it has to update more than 60 devices to new One UI versions — up to 80 different models, but fewer in some markets as the company doesn’t launch some devices globally.
Last week, the One UI 7 rollout began, introducing Android 15 to Galaxy devices. However, shortly after the update’s initial release for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Flip 6, Samsung discovered serious bugs and halted the rollout. It may resume the update later this week, though we do not have confirmation. However, users in India might have to wait longer for One UI 7.
According to the official roadmap, the Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, Flip 6, and Fold 6 will receive this update within April, but there’s no exact release date. It could be anytime between today and the end of the month. Below is the full One UI 7 release timeline for India (in the order mentioned by Samsung):
