After rolling out the stable One UI 6 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in India in December, Samsung is now releasing the update for the LTE variants. While the official One UI 6 Watch rollout began in November, it is gradually extending to all eligible Galaxy Watches.
Galaxy Watch 4 LTE and Watch 4 Classic LTE are now One UI 6 Watch ready!
According to Tarun Vats, the Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch update is now available for the Indian units of the Galaxy Watch 4 LTE (SM-R865F) and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic LTE (SM-R895F). The updates, with firmware versions R865FXXU1IXK1 and R895FXXU1IXK1, are around 1.8GB in size and include the October 2024 security patch.
For what it’s worth, One UI 6 Watch brings several new features, including health and fitness tracking powered by Galaxy AI, making it easier to monitor your well-being. You can now use gestures for hands-free control and quickly access your favorite emojis while typing on the watch. Additionally, the update introduces new watch faces pre-loaded on the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra.

How to update your Galaxy Watch 4 LTE and Classic LTE to the One UI 6 Watch?
Before updating your Galaxy Watch, make sure it’s connected to your Galaxy phone and has at least 30% battery. Then, follow these steps to check for and install the latest update.
- Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your Galaxy phone.
- Tap Watch settings > Watch software update.
- If an update is available, select Download and install to start the process.
Once the update is complete, your Galaxy Watch will be up to date with the latest features and any fixes.
