After some accidental slip-ups, Samsung has officially started teasing its upcoming Galaxy A series smartphones, generating excitement for the next wave of mid-range devices. While the Galaxy A56 is the main attraction, the company also has the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26 in development. These phones are expected to go official next month.

Samsung starts teasing the Galaxy A56 and other upcoming mid-range phones

The official X handle of Samsung India recently released a one-minute teaser video highlighting the success of the Galaxy A lineup. The video emphasizes the lineup’s growing popularity and showcases key features that have resonated with consumers. The company strategically positions these phones across various price points, delivering an impressive balance of affordability and performance.

The upcoming models are poised to continue that tradition. While the teaser does not dive into specific details about the Galaxy A56, A36, or A26, it hints at design enhancements, camera upgrades, strong build quality, Samsung Knox-powered security, and long software support, including six years of security and OS upgrades.

A silhouette shown at the end of the video confirms a metallic build for one of the upcoming phones. It should be the Galaxy A56 — the Galaxy A36 and A26 are expected to feature a plastic body. Samsung also subtly confirms the reintroduction of a camera bump, will all three models featuring a vertical rear camera housing. The upcoming Galaxy A trio also keeps the Key Island button design.

As of now, there is no official launch date for these phones. However, Samsung is highly likely to unveil them sometime in March. At the very least, the Galaxy A56 and A36 are expected to debut next month, while the Galaxy A26 may arrive later. We’ll keep you updated as soon as more details emerge, whether through leaks or an official announcement from Samsung.
