We’ve all cracked our phone screens at some point. If you haven’t, thank big lords. But if you’re in the first group, you might want to hear what’s coming next. Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra’s actually cost less to repair the screen than their Galaxy S24 counterparts. Samsung has revealed the spare part prices for the Galaxy S25 series in India, which includes screen repair estimates (h/t Indian Express).
It costs less to repair Galaxy S25’s screen than Galaxy S24 models
Despite upgrades to the displays across the Galaxy S25 series, repair costs are actually lower compared to the Galaxy S24. For example, a screen repair for the Galaxy S24 Ultra is priced at INR 16,610, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s screen repair costs just INR 11,950 in India. Similarly, repairing the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 screens will set you back INR 8,400 and INR 6,150, respectively. Both of which are cheaper than the INR 12,520 and INR 8,600 required for the S24 variants. You can find the full price comparison in the image below.
In fact, the repair costs are considerably more affordable in India compared to the US. For instance, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s screen repair is priced at $259 in the US, but only $191 (local currency adjusted) in India. But hey, that’s still a much lower cost than repairing an iPhone 16’s screen, whether it’s the 16 Pro Max, 16 Pro, 16 Plus, or the standard 16.
As for the US market, screen repair prices for the Galaxy S25 series and S24 series are identical. So, whether you go for a Galaxy S25 or S24, you’ll pay the same for screen repairs. Keep in mind, however, that these costs do not include labor fees or any other additional charges.
