Samsung recently announced a major update for Good Lock, its Galaxy customization suite. It was supposed to go live with One UI 7, which debuts on the Galaxy S25 series on Wednesday. However, the updated version has leaked ahead of schedule, showcasing a major UI overhaul. This update also brings new features and enhancements to several Good Lock modules.
Good Lock’s One UI 7 update leaked, check it out below
Version 3.0.10.0 of the Good Lock app has been leaked online, giving us early access to Samsung’s One UI 7 redesign. The app gets a visual refresh, with all modules or plugins now listed in the same section. You can still filter them out using pre-built chips at the top. The bottom navigation bar is taller and features icons for each tab.
The “You” tab shows all customizations and active Good Lock settings in one place, allowing you to quickly tweak things when needed. You can also select your favorite modules and find them in this section. While Samsung announced a search function for Good Lock, we can’t find it in this leaked version. Maybe it’s still a work in progress, we shall get a confirmation soon.
Elsewhere, Good Lock now offers home screen widgets and a bunch of wallpapers. There are two widget designs to pick from: Mini and Cassette. The former is essentially a homescreen shortcut to the full list of Good Lock modules, while the latter offers a nostalgic feel with an iconic cassette tapes-shaped design with quick access to four favorite modules.
Overall, this Good Lock redesign goes along with Samsung’s One UI 7 update nicely. We installed the leaked version on a Galaxy S24 Ultra running One UI 7 Beta 3. Some modules worked normally, while others expectedly did not support the new One UI version. We’d suggest you wait until Samsung officially rolls out this update. However, if you wish to try it out early, X user @tarunvats33 shared the APK file via Google Drive.
