There have been strong rumors about Samsung increasing the Galaxy S25 prices in most markets around the world. Well, the pricing structure for a key market has been leaked, confirming the anticipated price hike. The latest leak also confirms the existence of a 16GB RAM variant for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Leak confirms a price hike for the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the rest of the lineup
X users @tarunvats33 recently shared the alleged pricing structure for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra for India. The source claimed to have obtained the prices from a local retailer. According to them, the base model will start at ₹84,999 (approx. $980 at the current exchange rate). That’s a ₹5,000 (approx. $58) hike over the base Galaxy S24.
The Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra will see a similar increase in their prices in India. In fact, Samsung has raised the prices by ₹5,000 across the board. Whichever model you pick and whatever configuration you select, you’ll pay ₹5,000 more than the 2024 models. You can find the full pricing structure below:
Galaxy S25
- 12+256GB: ₹84,999 (approx. $980)
- 12+512GB: ₹94,999 (approx. $1,096)
Galaxy S25+
- 12+256GB: ₹1,04,999 (approx. $1,212)
- 12+512GB: ₹1,14,999 (approx. $1,328)
Galaxy S25 Ultra
- 12+256GB: ₹1,34,999 (approx. $1,558)
- 16+512GB: ₹1,44,999 (approx. $1,674)
- 16+1TB: ₹1,64,999 (approx. $1,904)
As mentioned above, all of these prices are ₹5,000 (approx. $58) more than the Galaxy S24 lineup. For this price hike, Samsung is offering 12GB RAM on the base model instead of 8GB. Additionally, the 512GB and 1TB Ultra come with 16GB of RAM instead of 12GB. Rumors suggest the 16GB RAM variant may not be available in some markets.
There are also rumors that Samsung might start the base Galaxy S25 at 128GB of storage in some regions, including Europe. Expect more leaks in the build-up to launch next week. The Galaxy S25 series goes official on January 22. Pre-reservations are already live, with Samsung offering savings of up to $1,250.
